Sonic Temple will be performing on the second edition of Tanweer Festival. Join us for a session in Mleiha desert on Friday 21st of November 2025 at Tanweer’s Dome.
The core meaning of Tanweer is “enlightenment,” “illumination,” or “to enlighten.” It comes from the Arabic root verb ن و ر (N-W-R), which is the same root for the word “Noor” (نور) meaning “light.”
Therefore, Tanweer carries the powerful metaphorical sense of:
- Dispelling darkness (of ignorance, doubt, or sadness)
- Bringing light (of knowledge, wisdom, and guidance)
- Clarifying and illuminating the truth
